Buenos Aires is a passenger railway station in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The station is terminus of the Belgrano Sur line that runs trains along Greater Buenos Aires region.The station is located a short distance north of the Riachuelo River, on the boundaries between the barrios of Parque Patricios and Barracas, two outlying neighbourhoods in the southern part of the city.OverviewDespite its name, Buenos Aires is not the principal railway station of the city and is only a secondary commuter rail station. The local transport company Argentren operates various daily diesel trains to and from the Buenos Aires suburbs along two branches of the Belgrano Sur line.
