THE LEGEND OF SIR MANGLE

A long time ago, near the mangrove swamp, a man washed up on the beach. He was wearing board shorts, sunglasses and he had a yellow surfboard strapped to his ankle.

He didn't remeber who he was or how he got there. He started walking on the beach looking for something to eat and drink when he saw a mangrove moving to the wind and waves even though the rest of the trees were still. He walked closer and what he thought to be a tree turned out to be a beautiful, exuberant black woman. She fed him, gave him water to drink and let him sleep in her arms.

He woke up a couple of days later at the beach. The woman was gone but now a memory haunted his mind. It was the woman´s voice: "We are all kings in search of a kingdom. This mangrove is your kingdom and you shall see it prosper with music and happiness".

The man called himself Sir Mangle and built a castle with the colours and sounds of the sea and the mangrove. Everyone who came to the kingdom were greeted with generous food and drinks, music and the best waves. One day, Sir Mangle took to the sea riding his yellow surfboard and left. No one has ever seen him again, but when the music and happiness fill the halls of the castle and the tide rises, everyone knows he came back.
