Luciano K Hotel 4.88

A 38 room boutique hotel, a blend of old character and new design due for soft opening in November 2015.

The hotel will have a lobby, bar and restaurant on the first floor with a terrace overlooking the park. There will be a spa centre with sauna on the underground floor, and a 300 sq metre rooftop terrace and bar and amazing views to the Parque Forestal and Plaza Italia! Additionally there will be a heated lap pool on the top floor.

The building is a historic gem in the heart of Barrio Lastarria originally developed by cult architect Luciano Kulczewski in the 1920’s. Luciano was quite the character – a very eccentric person who became a legend in the neighbourhood. When it was built this was the highest building in Chile, and the first with an elevator and central heating.

The new Hotel will also feature the original (first!) elevator in Chile which has been renovated conserving the original ‘capsule’. All original marble staircases and tiles have been renovated, all wooden doors amongst many other original features.
