The 35 acres of native natural forest in Ayaltué Park, offers you a special experience in the heart of Patagonia: its history, legends, traditions, crafts, and the unique and uncontaminated flora and fauna of this extreme part of the world. Accompanied by a nature guide you will set off on a beautiful trail in the temperate microclimate of the rainforest of northern Patagonia. You will have the chance to learn how the locals prepare smoked salmon, you’ll discover many native varieties of potatoes; but in Ayaltué you’ll also learn some interesting facts and anecdotes about rural life in Chile, including stories of religion, paganism and mythology.
