Yukon Motor Vehicles 3.35

The first time you get a secure driver’s licence or general identification card, you need to provide:

• two documents to prove Yukon residency
• government-issued proof of identity with:
• photo and signature
• date of birth
• current legal name

There’s no need to rush. Your current driver’s licence is valid until the expiry date on the card.

Come prepared. Bring your birth certificate and passport or driver's licence, a Yukon health card and utility bill. Other documents will work too, but check first.
