Whittamore’s Farm is a large 220 acre fruit and vegetable farm nestled beside the Rouge River Valley in Markham, Ontario.

Whittamore’s has been in the Pick-Your-Own business for over 50 years. We take pride and work hard to deliver a superior product. Thousands of people join us every year on the farm to get their “fresh from the farm” treats. They come to pick the freshest strawberries, raspberries and vegetables to take home to their kitchen table. Deep in the heart of the Rouge Valley, our farm is an oasis in the ever expanding GTA. Kids love the experience because it brings the grocery store down to earth. We are open from mid-June until Halloween with a host of fresh fruits and vegetables.

FARM SHOP

Our Farm Shop opens in May with asparagus, our own rhubarb and a unique selection of garden plants and mixed hanging baskets. Our Shop peaks during June, July & August with our own fresh strawberries, raspberries and freshly picked fruits and vegetables.

We carry on through August and September with sweet corn and tomatoes and bring in Ontario's best local fruits and vegetables as they come into season.

Take in the aroma of our Bakeshop with home baked pies and butter tarts, enjoy our preserves, honey and maple syrup. In September take home fresh-picked crisp, juicy apples and bring the family back in October when our farm is transformed into a colourful display of fall time decorations and bright orange pumpkins.

FUN FARM YARD

Our Fun Farm Yard will provide hours of spring and summer delight for the whole family. Open daily from May through mid-September, we offer a unique, exciting fun filled day for children of all ages. Kids can play in our Sand Toy Lot and climb our 1950’s Tractor or frolic in one of our many Playhouses. Visit our Barn Yard Animals and try our Milking Cow and Goat after you jump in our Farm Bouncer, play on the Tractor Tire Climb and become a cowboy at the Rock n’Ride Horseplay. Climb our two-storey Tree Fort and Slide and take a hike up Strawberry Mountain and be amazed at the view of the farm and the beautiful Rouge River Valley.
