Weiner's 3.1

It all started when I was a little girl, with my favorite cake – a magic chocolate cake, made of eighty percent pure chocolate crème. It is said that the cake was once enjoyed by one of Romania’s last monarchs.

I inherited the recipe form my best friend’s mother, 15 years ago, when I left my hometown in Western Romania to live in the capital, and I have been baking it ever since, for family, friends and special occasions.

I have always loved to see the joy a slice of my magic chocolate cake can bring to everyone who tries it – so I decided to spread delight to as many people as I possibly can, in Bucharest.

I drew my symbol, my monogram and my cake boxes – and I started to bake the magic chocolate cake for my not-so-small community of Facebook friends and co-workers. And it all grew from there.

Now, I am starting again, from scratch – I just moved to Montreal, with my beloved husband, George, and I am going to share this magic royal chocolate taste with all of you!
