The Lynn Valley on Mountain Highway location, nestled in this quaint community, is a great place for families to relax with their children after a day of running around.
At this location, store owner Darla has made a safe and playful environment by providing a play area for children.
Here you can soak in the sun through the large windows that surround the storefront and enjoy a great book or browse the Internet.

Our Lynn Valley Mountain Highway location is individually family owned and operated by our lovely Darla Chibi. She is the "mother goose" of Lynn Valley, always caring for others. She is completely devoted to the community by spreading her warm smile and hot cups of coffee. She generously donates as much as she can by providing coffee orders and gift baskets to groups such as schools, running groups, soccer games, church services and more.

-Our Name-
Can you remember a time when you saw a long lost friend across the room or across the street? When your eyes met and you reconnected with an instant flood of fond memories, what was the first thing you did? If your first instinct was to wave, then you now know the sentiment behind our name.

Waves is a place to connect, less in the electronic sense and more in the face to face, have a laugh and some good conversation sense.

-Our Roots-
The Waves Coffee House franchise was founded in 2005 at Hastings and Richards Street in downtown Vancouver British Columbia.

Ever since then, we’ve been known for our superb fresh brewed coffee, warm hospitality and incomparable service.

In 2008, we were recognized by the Brand Coaches as the "Hottest Brand in Canada". We have also been recognized as the "Best of Brands" by over 1,500 coffee retailers. Today there are 31 Waves across British Columbia and Alberta - with more to come.

-What Sets Us Apart-
At Waves, we use the very finest coffee beans available. Specifically, 100% Specialty Grade, purchased directly from small lot farmers. Eventually some of these beans make a sweet reunion with real Belgian chocolate (not powdered). As a result our mochas have become an institution of their own!

Our food menu also is the best of any coffee chain. Come to any Waves and you’ll be tantalized by a fresh and wide variety of panini, wraps, sliders, soups and salads.

Other innovations and considerations, such as rooibos iced teas, free meeting rooms and consistently gracious servers have made us the destination to a growing segment who are looking for a local alternative to the multinational coffee giants.
