Viking Air Limited is a world-class aerospace company and manufacturer of the Twin Otter Series 400, the best-selling 19 passenger turbo-prop aircraft available on the market today. The Viking Twin Otter Series 400 received type certification in 2010, and to date, over 100 aircraft have been sold to 26 countries worldwide.

In 2006 Viking acquired the Type Certificates for the entire line of de Havilland heritage aircraft (DHC-1 through DHC-7), and fully supports the worldwide legacy fleet with spare parts manufacture, in-service engineering, technical support, fleet tracking, technical publications, mobile repair teams, and warranty administration.

In 2016 Viking acquired the manufacturing rights for the CL-415. The amphibious aircraft program includes the Bombardier CL-415 waterbomber and its variants, as well as the earlier CL-215 and CL-215T versions. The Bombardier 415, also known as the SuperScooper is the aviation industry’s benchmark amphibious aircraft and the backbone of firefighting missions around the globe. Designed and built in Canada with a heritage that dates back almost 50 years, it is the only western aircraft purpose-built for firefighting.

Viking services a global customer base from 14,000m2 of parts manufacturing, assembly, and aircraft modification facilities at Victoria International Airport, and 6,500m2 of aircraft final assembly at Calgary International Airport. Viking’s workforce exceeds 575 employees between the two operations with anticipated growth over the next five years.
