University of Saskatchewan Innovative Energy Team 2.05

The University of Saskatchewan Innovative Energy Team’s mission is to ignite creativity and passion in future engineers for designing and implementing responsible and sustainable energy sources and practices, from fossil fuels to renewables. Also, we hope to explore the various environmental and socioeconomic benefits these various energy sources have to offer.

As Western Canada grows in its role as a leader of responsible, innovative energy, industry as well as academia will begin looking to those with not only the technical know-how, but also those with drive and a passion for energy sources to leadership. USIET hopes to introduce its members to this passion — not only of a passion of design and engineering, but a passion for the energy sector, creativity and innovation.
