The United Khmer Buddhist Temple is one of many Khmer temples in Canada practicing Theravada Buddhism mainly practice in Theravada Buddhist countries. UKBT is a non-profit organization all funds are generated by your generosity of your kind heart and we are the committees members want to say thanks you to each and every one of you from the past, the present and to the future with your support. Every penny of your donation goes to the uses and maintain of ours temple from the past for the present and for the future. No one as the committee members of UKBT is getting pay for doing the work. We all are volunteering our time and energy to maintain the temple for the Buddhist followers to worship and conduct the religious ceremonies.
Our mission is to preserve our Khmer culture along with Theravada Buddhism, to practice the Buddha's teachings and our Buddhist heritage to the Khmer people who live in Hamilton and for the people worldwide.
Our mission is to promote individual peace of mind, compassion for all beings, spiritual growth, and an ethical way of life based on Buddhist principles.

Practices: Chanting sutras, dana to sangha, meditation, precepts/ordination, short-term precepts, offering advice, charity work, household services, conducting ceremonies including ordination services for summer course, weddings, funerals, birthday observances and perform religious functions in community.

Open for public: daily Open from 9:00am to 9:00PM
