Every year since 2007 Townshippers’ Association has been offering a free legal information service to help answer the public’s questions, in English, thanks to an amazing collaboration with the Université de Sherbrooke’s Law Faculty.

From September until April, volunteering third-year law students from the UdeS Law Faculty spend one day a week answering your legal questions by phone, email, and in person by appointment, at Townshippers’ Sherbrooke office. This service is free, confidential and offered in English.

Please note, this service is only offered during the academic year, one student volunteer covers the autumn/winter period and another student provides the service during the spring/summer period. Hours of availability depend on the schedule of the student volunteer.
