TMD Inc. 2.13

TMD first came about in late 2015 and has blossomed into reality in a short few months. TMD identified a gap in traditional sports development programs which did a great job on athletics, game skills and strategy, but didn’t round out the athlete in terms of emotional and spiritual balance. It took only weeks from realization until we had established TMD as a organization: Total Man Development Inc. Founded in concept October 28th, 2015 and with several months of development and early operational success, TMD was formally registered as an organization in March 16th, 2016. As of March TMD has taken on 13 athletes, started up a TMD 7on7 passing football team and they have competed across Canada and the United States.

In parallel with program support for our athletes, we have had the opportunity to present at multiple youth conventions to promote our services and story. This not only gives visibility to TMD, but it spreads the message and vision of how excellence is much more than athletic performance.

Our Mission statement here at TMD is “To develop athletes from the inside-out” as opposed to the outside-in.

The world is changing at a rapid pace and it is proving increasingly difficult for young men to develop to grow to become a strong and positive contributor to society. TMD provides young athletes with challenge and encouragement through the hearts, wisdom, and guidance of mentors and coaches who have accomplished those themselves. The skills and habits developed at TMD position our young men to be ready for entering the workforce, and in fact will help them for their entire lives as responsible members of the community. We are doing this through the use of athletics, something young men can relate to, understand, and apply. Key skills include identity, living with character and integrity, and working faithfully.
