The Royal Westminster Regiment Association was formed after WWII for those members of the Westminster Regiment who served overseas during the war. Membership in the Association is for any member who served the Regiment after WWII and up to the present day. This includes those that may have served any of the five Army Cadet Corps or being a member of the Cadet Instructors Cadre.

Any former serving member of the Regimental family can join the Association. Membership is $15 per year or $100 for Life membership. Your dues gets you the Groundsheet newsletter 3 times a year. Your dues also go towards helping to pay for the running of the Association and purchasing gifts for families of members who pass on.

The Executive meets the first Monday of the month at the Armoury. Any member is welcome to attend.

Each May the Association celebrates the battle of the Melfa River in Italy by holding a golf tournament, dinner and Sunday brunch.

The Executive is always trying to find former members of the Regiment to get them to join the Association.

As mentioned, the Regiment has five affiliated army cadet corps. Former members of the cadets and members of the CIL are welcomed to join the Association.
