The Friendly Doula 2.21

I am a certified birth doula with Doula Training Canada (DTC). As a doula I provide ongoing support from as early as your first trimester into postpartum. Emotional and physical support as well as references and information are just some of the things I can offer to you and your support person. During labour I can help by providing comfort techniques I have learned in courses taken throughout my program. Whether you are planning a natural or medicated, hospital or home birth, I can be there with you step by step to assist you in planning and preparing for your optimal birthing experience. If you plan on using or happen to need pain medication or are having a planned cesarean you are not immune to the effects of labour. The need for comfort and emotional support, as well as information regarding your options are important for a positive birth experience.
