Tangerine: the food bar 4.32

We have such a wonderfully unique situation here in Saskatchewan, being in the heart of the world’s best agriculture. Tangerine fully intends to take this and run with it! We have developed a partnership with a local farmer to sustain a closed-loop system of food production. We collect and separate all organic waste from our daily operations, from vegetable peelings to day-old bread to plate scrapings. From there, it is sent to GDL Farms, a family-run farm just 75 kilometers north of Regina, where these scraps are fed to free-range chickens and pigs. We get fresh eggs every week – 60 dozen of them! – and we also receive our delicious Berkshire ham from them as well. It all comes full circle!
