Tails & Trails - Dog Treks 2.26

Raising my companion, Jade was one of the most profound experiences of my life. We enjoyed many walks, hikes and endless hours together bonding before she passed away. I have so much thanks to give her for teaching me about providing selfless care to a canine companion. When my family and friends observed my special bond with and attention to Jade’s needs, they began asking me to take their dogs along on my adventures with her and to provide care to their pets when they were out of town. This is when my passion for animals and animal care, turned into a source of income.

As the months and years went by, I knew I had found something unique in the pet care industry, a career that lights up my soul. I’ve witnessed how group hikes offer a kind of fulfillment to dogs that allows them the chance to express themselves as the wonderful and special individuals that they are.
I’ve eased the void left in my heart since Jades passing by sharing the love I have for her to all the animals that comes into my care. I give them the same love and attention that I wholeheartedly gave to Jade and am now able to reach out and hopefully put a smile and tail wag on every dog I meet.

Dogs are my passion and I am excited to be on a never-ending journey to learn about their communication and how to influence their behaviour; which will ensure the safety of all the dogs in my care. In addition it’s about keeping it FUN!
