Grandmaster Tae Eun Lee opened the first Taekwondo School here in Ottawa in 1977.

Tae E. Lee Moo Kwang Taekwondo is a traditional martial art which develops skills in self-protection, physical fitness and mental agility. The proven Tae E. Lee Moo Kwang Program is an opportunity to study Taekwondo in its original and native form.

Grandmaster Tae E. Lee emphasizes attitude over technique, with the goal to develop well-rounded martial artists, not fighters. It is attitude — martial art spirit — not physical ability alone, that determines advancement in his method of training.
