Shiva Milan Mandir 3.23

The Shiva Milan Mandir of Ontario is an initiative of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, founded more than fifteen years ago. We are a charitable organization focused on upholding the teachings of Guru Maharaj. We are committed to promoting the youths and teaching the true values of hinduism to all. The serene atmosphere of leadership, acceptance and encouragment is palpable.

The goal of The Shiva Milan Mandir is to continue developing the youths because “the youth are the future of tommorow”.

Every Sunday chantings of the holy scriptures resonate throughout the building. Our weekly Sunday service begins at 10AM. The Sunday service is conducted by the youth of the mandir!

The Ramayan is sang every week with interpretations from the youths and enriching explanations by the learned adults. Every child is able to fluently recite the chalisas, chowpais, and mantras, among many others. The musical center of the temple also revolves around the youths. Revered elders constantly enlighten everyone by teaching new chowpais and elaborating on the crucial messages of the Ramayan and Gita.
