Shake Maker Designs 1.38

Shake Maker Designs was inspired by my father's humble heritage of hard working cedar shake makers, and mother's love for words and history. Shake makers skillfully hand split and shape rough lumber into unique, simple, handcrafted shakes to adorn homes. They designed with purpose for purpose.

My passion is to create because I am created to do so, and to take what may be found to be simple and to design and craft it into something beautiful and purpose filled.

I do this by arranging inspirational words in a manner that is both art and adornment. For my jewelry designs, I seek to arrange Truth and truths in an artful manner for the purpose of serving as visual reminders for both the wearer and those around them.

I also enjoy seeking the simple, perhaps even rejected wooden frame to craft it into something beautiful and purpose filled.
