The B & B, constructed in the late 1800s stands as a proud reminder of the elegance of the Victorian era. Originally deeded to the Ditchburn family, the house was later occupied by the village doctor, who built on the spacious addition for his busy practice. Belinda and Joe purchased the home in 2006 and restored it to its historic beauty adding all the comforts of home.

Only a two minute walk from Lake Rosseau and the newly developed waterfront beach, park, and piers, the Rosseau Retreat is ideal for weary travellers seeking escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Designed in the style of a turn of the century mercantile store, the open concept kitchen and dining room offer an opportunity for socialization over an elegant breakfast. For those seeking more privacy, arrangements can be made for breakfast baskets to be delivered to their rooms.diningroom

Rooms may be rented individually, or arrangements can be made for exclusive use of the house. The Retreat is open year round for four season enjoyment. All rooms have the following features:

- Private en suite bathrooms with full shower and bath
- Satellite flat screen HD television.
- Wireless high-speed Internet.
- Bathroom toiletries are from Body and Soul supplying Soapstone’s Handcrafter soaps, lotions, hair products of Huntsville, soapstones
- Local Baking is served with morning breakfasts. Everything is homemade.
