Who We Are…



Rockwood Nursery School is celebrating its 50th year of operation in our community! We proudly serve the town of Rockwood, Guelph Eramosa East, Acton and beyond. We offer a large, bright and spacious setting for our nursery school programs. The Rockwood Nursery School (RNS) offers preschool and nursery school classes for children aged 18 months to 5 years.

As a non profit cooperative, we take pride in parental involvement, as it is a necessity for the continuation of our programs. Parents can volunteer in classes, and are required to volunteer as part of one of the many committees that make our school run. The school has an elected Board of Directors, consisting of parents who meet monthly with the teachers to handle the business of running the school.

We offer a safe, nurturing and caring environment in which children are encouraged to develop their potential. Staff and parents work together to offer a stimulating setting for children to increase their sense of self-worth, with the following results:
