In addition, we offer alternative services such as inter-muscular stimulation (IMS), acupuncture & cupping, low intensity laser therapy and specialized exercise programs to compliment your recovery.

Dr. Peter Shipka graduated from the University of Alberta prior to his attending Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California in 1991. While attending chiropractic college he received the: Alberta College of Chiropractic Student Scholarship, the Midland Scholarship for Service, the Midland Research Honorarium, the Student American Chiropractic Association Scholarship, the E. Maylon Drake Humanitarian Award and the LACC Alumni Association Award. Upon graduation in 1994, Dr. Shipka worked with Dr. Masahiro Yoshihashi at the Hokkaido Chiropractic Centre in Sapporo, Japan from 1995 until the fall of 1996. While there he treated patients with Dr. Yoshihashi and gave a series of lectures on the chiropractic management of low back pain across Japan to the local chiropractic associations.

Our Massage Therapists are all licensed and registered. Massage therapist’s at Riverview Chiropractic work collaboratively with each other and with the Chiropractor, Dr. Peter Shipka B.Sc, D.C., to provide an effective multi-modality care program customized to your individual needs for optimal results.
