Rich in Faith Youth 2.15

Rich In Faith is a group of youth from the Richmond Masjid that seek to uncover the potential of young people in revitalizing the ummah. We do this by focusing on starting initiatives in the local community. One of these activities are the Saturday Halaqaat; knowledge of the mission of all the prophets plays an integral part in giving us the Islamic perspective of life. For this reason, every Saturday after Asr we want to impart religious knowledge and contribute to how a Muslim can apply the lessons to go about their daily life. Another activity is the full-time soccer team. We promote the healthy lifestyle that comes with a commitment to athletic endeavours and will bring a competitive spirit to channeling the youth energy towards positive forms of recreation. The next area is in developing work ethic and character as we want to perform various maintenance activities around the Masjid. The people that kept the Masjid clean and beautiful were beloved by our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and we seek to earn the pleasure of Allah (SWT) for taking care of his house of worship.
