Red Pocket Farm launches its debut season in 2012. It is located at Downsview Park (just north of downtown Toronto, Ontario), operating on land provided by Fresh City Farms. Red Pocket grows a selection of popular Asian vegetables, as well as common Western market varieties, and can be found at various farmers’ markets throughout Toronto this summer.
Thanks for visiting and I look forward to growing with you,
Amy Cheng (Owner/Farmer)

What is a Red Pocket?
A red pocket is a small red envelope usually containing money or a candy treat. It is given most commonly during Chinese New Year, as a blessing for health, happiness, prosperity, and good luck. In farming, one certainly needs all four for a successful season.
