The Red Deer Express is a national and provincial award winning weekly newspaper that has served the region since 1946.

The Express is dedicated to providing the highest quality local news in both its weekly newspaper and online service. The Express publishes every Wednesday with a circulation of more than 30,000. The newspaper provides home delivery service to all residential areas. There are newspaper boxes strategically placed throughout all areas of the City, as well at selected locations in the City of Lacombe, and the towns of Sylvan Lake, Innisfail, Blackfalds and Penhold.
