Hello, my name is Rebekah Rakowski and I am a certified Doula in training.

I began working as a Doula in July of 2016. Before becoming a Doula, I was working in a field which did not offer me fulfillment nor joy. I was not happy. After re-examining my heart, my dreams and taking stock of my strengths, I realized that serving others is my heart's desire. I can think of no better way to serve others than at the moment when we are our most vulnerable selves.

Participating in the wonderous, miraculous experience of watching a tiny human take their first breath and witnessing the sheer joy of a family emerging is not something I take for granted and I feel very honoured when asked to support those who have entrusted me to help them along this journey called "new life".
