With a background in nutrition and community health, Maureen embraces relationship building and collaboration in her approach to coaching. She believes that by cultivating a strong sense of self awareness, individuals can then follow a path to greater fulfillment, personally and professionally.

Maureen grew up in Carmacks, a small town in Canada's Yukon. After she graduated from high school in Whitehorse, Maureen attended the University of Guelph where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science specializing in Human and Community Nutrition.

Over the next twenty years Maureen worked within management and leadership positions in Health Canada's Yukon Office with programs related to the health and wellness of Northern people. As Maureen focused on the community concerns of her office, she recognized that her co-workers also had needs related to self-development, both personally and professionally.

Maureen learned that she enjoyed the human connection that came from helping other people learn how they could improve aspects of their jobs and lives. Once that concept of "coaching" as a profession was introduced to her, she knew that's what she wanted to do.

In 2014, Maureen was awarded a certification as a Professional Co-Active Coach from CTI and became credentialed via the International Coaching Federation. She now manages her own coaching firm and serves clients within Yukon and around the world.
