This modern spacious Suite has a stunning Ocean View from the Balcony of the Master Bedroom. All the comforts of home with a fully equipped self catered kitchen, dining area and lounge,. A very comfortable day bed for additional guests. 4 piece bath, and PRIVATE ENTRANCE. It is possible to convert to a one bedroom to be discussed with owner.
Beach side oceanfront lawn with patio, barbecues, and private beach access. Only 4 minutes from the Departure Bay BC ferry terminal. 3 mins from grocery store, liquor store and bank.
42" high definition TV with multi channel cable. Secure wireless, ultra high speed internet (WiFi) access and small private working office with desk.
Close to buses, ferries and air transportation. Downtown, waterfront seawalls, parks and nature walks are minutes away. Kayakers can paddle to and from our beach and easily stow their kayaks. Scuba divers can dive on sensational wreck dives right in the bay! Delight in a refreshing dip or snorkel in the crystal clear waters, with private access to the beach and our outdoor shower. Departure Bay has the year round average warmest temperature in Canada.

Nanaimo is the 2nd largest urban center on the Island with accommodations, dining and great shopping. It is the cultural hub of East Coast & Central Vancouver Island, the start of your exploration of sandy beaches, charming beachside towns and the entire southern Gulf Islands (known farther south as the San Juan). NOTE:: A second ocean view balcony queen bedroom with private bathroom is also available for friends and family when combined with the Salish Suite, it is possible to rent the entire upper floor for special stays for up to 7 guests.
