Valarmathy Rachel Fernandes hails from a family with a medical background. Her mother was a Homeopath, Siddha doctor (ancient traditional medicine from South India) and a mid wife who practiced the same for past 50 years and she was well known for the expertise in her field just like Rachel. Her mother is the back bone for this corporate clinic and her timely advice is valuable in making Rachel a successful homeopathic doctor.
Rachel did her Bachelors in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S for 5 1/2 years from the prestigious institute of India, Fr.Muller's Homeopathic medical college and hospital, Mangalore, India. She completed her course and was practicing with her mother. Later in 1995 she joined back in the same college as a lecturer and was teaching homeopathy. In the year 1998 she did her M.D (Hom) Doctor of medicine three year course in repertory at Fr.Muller’s once again under highly experienced and international famous homeopath as her guide Late Prof. Dr. D. P. Rastogi, Director Boenninghausen academy for classical Homoeopathy Delhi, India.

She after completing her M.D, in the year 2001 was teaching at Fr.Muller’s till 2007 and she resigned her post as a professor. She was a post graduate teacher and also an examiner for various universities of India. She is a frequent contributor to homeopathic journals and college magazines and has presented scientific papers on homeopathic subjects all over the world. She is holding various memberships in different homeopathic associations of India like IHMA, HMAI.WHF etc.

She moved to UAE in the year 2008 and was practicing Homeopathy in Abu Dhabi at “Al kamal medical center” till 2011. She was holding an independent license from MOH (Ministry of health UAE) and HAAD (Health authority of Abu Dhabi) registration and was one of the famous Specialist homeopath in UAE. She was in charge of staff welfare – dealing with the general issues faced by the doctors, nurses and administrative staffs at Al kamal medical center and was involved in housekeeping, incident and general confidentiality policies. She was attending weekly CMES and seminars in various hospitals in UAE.Every month she was actively participating in Abu Dhabi homeopathic association and contributed a lot to the profession.
She returned to India in 2011 and was holding the post of a PRINCIPAL & MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT of the Hospital and Head of the Department of Case Taking and Repertory at “Bhagawan Buddha Homeopathic medical college and Hospital, Bangalore, India”.
Apart from her private practice, she was also appointed as a senior consultant at “Homeo care international” pvt ltd, chain of super specialty corporate homeopathy clinics in India. She visited various branches of “Homeo care international” throughout Karnataka and healed hundreds of people with their incurable diseases through homeopathy. During her tenure at “Homeo care international” she presented lot of live tv programmes in various channels regarding homeopathic treatment for many diseases like allergic rhinitis,bronchtits, asthma, infertility, psoriasis, thyroid disorders, alopecia, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune diseases, hepatitis, etc.
Rachel is a well-respected homeopath since 1994 and an internationally recognized teacher. She practices Classical Homeopathy since 21years and has helped thousands of people return to health rapidly, gently and permanently with homeopathy.
Rachel’s intention is to give the patient benefits of homeopathy; she is a lady perfection. Her policy is to treat a sick individual giving enough time to narrate and express their concerns rather than giving away medicines. So she gives consultation only to a limited number of patients each day.
Rachel treats every patient giving at most care and respect preserving their rights most ethically and honestly.
She migrated to Canada in the year 2013. Now she is holding a post as a director in the Ontario Homeopathic association and she is actively involved in the growth of homeopathy in Canada. She frequently publishes articles in various Canadian newspapers and talks on the radio and tv shows. She is practicing full time homeopathy at Mississauga, Ontario province. She is also the director and owner of Rachel’s Homeopathy Inc.
She treats all age groups from infants to seniors and all type of diseases from simple cold to incurable auto immune diseases like thyroid disorders through homeopathic system of holistic healing with her innovative methods.
