Port Clyde Fire Department provides fire-fighting and Medical First Responder services to one of the largest areas in Shelburne County, as well as mutual aid to our neighbouring fire departments.

Our team is made up of around 25 members, men and women, your friends and neighbours who respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Every single member is a volunteer.

We are dedicated to improving and preserving the quality of life, property and the environment through education, leadership and effective response to emergencies.

We are proud to serve our local community, but as Port Clyde is situated in a quiet rural area we are always looking for new volunteers to support our numbers. If you want to become a volunteer firefighter or you can give some of your time to help with fund raising and community events then please get in touch with us and we can answer any questions you may have.
