My name is Coraleah Colpitts and I am the Owner and Provider for the Children at Play Experts Private Day Home.

My love for helping children started in Elementary School where I volunteered to teach ESL students how to read. In Junior high I began babysitting up to 5 days a week for several different families and often up to 6 children at a time.

After High School I began Administration work, eventually landing myself in the Oil and Gas Industry. Three years ago I realised that is not where I wanted to be. My passion was and is still working with Children. I decided to go back to school to work towards my Diploma in Early Learning and Child Care part time.

Two years ago I had my Daughter and realized there couldn’t be any better time to start my career working with children then right now.

I have my Police Check including the Vulnerable Sector Search.
I am certified in Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR level B

We base every day around "Playing". Through Playing I look for teachable moments to help stimulate your Childs creative minds.

Each day includes circle time, stories, free play, arts and crafts, outdoor play (weather permitting), nap/quiet time, signing songs and dance parties!

Last Friday of every Month is Movie/Pizza day! (Please note: Although we have a television in the basement/play area – it is NOT on all day but will be used to watch one movie a Month, even if it just plays in the background)

The Children’s Birthdays are important to us here at Play Experts. We will celebrate each Childs special day by having cake/ice cream and jumping in the bouncy house.

We also recognise Valentines, Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas as special days to celebrate. We will do this by talking about it, reading stories related to it and even making crafts.

On a daily basis the children will be provided with One Healthy Breakfast, One Healthy Lunch and Two Healthy Snacks.
