Since 2013, the Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club is proud to be the founding golf club for the Peace Country Junior Golf Tour. We look forward to the involvement from more golf clubs in the peace country area. Thank you to our sponsor Windsor Ford for their support of Junior golf.

Policies and Procedures

Eligibility
Entries for the Peace Country Junior Tour are open to all male and female junior golfers ages 10-18.

Entry Procedures
Registration for 18 hole events must be received by Tuesday for the Thursday events. Fee is $25 nonrefundable. Payable to the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club. Call the Golf Shop at (780) 532-0340 ext 1 to register.

Registration for the Major Events
The Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club Junior Open and The Dunes Golf & Winter Club Junior Open, are the tour’s major events. These events are two day events, 18 holes each day. To register for play in The Dunes Golf & Winter Club Junior Open, please call The Dunes to register at 780-539-4333. For the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club, please call 780-532-0340 to register. Pre-payment is mandatory.

Participant Cancellation and No Show Policy
· The Tour will not refund entries after the Tuesday registration deadline.
· No shows for events will incur 100% forfeiture of registration fees.

Practice Privileges
As the host club, the Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club invites all tour members to use the three practice areas during the months of July and August. This privilege is for tour members ONLY, others (parents included) will incur the usual cost for the use of these facilities.

Prizes
Prizes are given at the end of the tour season and at the major event.

Personal Appearance
Players MUST be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing. All players must adhere to the tour dress code. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from tour events. The use of tobacco and alcohol is strictly prohibited on tour.

Tour Dress Code
Shirts must have collars and sleeves.
Pants and shorts must be tailored.
Hats must be worn the correct way. (Brim on the front).

Point System
One day event attendance = 10 points
1st in each age group/flight will receive 25 points
2nd in each age group/flight will receive 20 points
3rd in each age group/flight will receive 15 points
4th in each age group/flight will receive 10 points
5th in each age group/flight will receive 5 points
Two day (Major) event attendance=20 points
