Paws Dog Solutions is a Winnipeg-based company dedicated to practical dog training solutions for busy professionals and families. We are committed to the use of positive reinforcement-based methods of training and behaviour modification. We offer group classes and private training. Our clients want well-behaved companions. We help them achieve their goals.

Our Specialty:
We work with all kinds of dogs and behaviour issues, from puppies and basic obedience to solving more serious behaviour problems such as on-leash dog-dog aggression.

Our Puppy Socialization classes feature open enrolment so families can join into class as soon as puppies are ready. This ensures puppies don’t miss out on their critical socialization period!

Our Trainers:
Laurel Neufeld, our Training Director and Owner, has been working professionally with dogs for 15 years. She loves a well-behaved dog that knows how to be part of the family. Her formerly leash aggressive border collie, Fergus, paved the way for the development of the Growly Dogs program at Paws Dog Solutions.

Susan Williams, Cindy Kitz-Morris, Kim Daeninck and Jenn Harding round out the Paws Dog Team. Our instructors are dedicated to getting new puppy guardians off on the right paw and guiding their students through the adolescent period. They strive to transform each bundle of raw puppy energy into the perfect adult companion.

Certifications & Associations:
Laurel is CPDT-KA certified, meaning that she has passed a rigorous exam given by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. We are members of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. We believe in ongoing professional education and development and attend numerous workshops each year to keep our certifications current.
