GROUP LESSONS:

Classes will consist of warm-up / conditioning exercises and specialized techniques. These techniques that we teach are efficient and effective movements for the most common types of personal attacks. We begin by giving you tools to assess confrontations in different situations, to become better aware of your surroundings and to keep calm during a personal attack. Using simple easy to learn techniques, we teach how to create space in order to get out of a bad situation. Slowly we build on these techniques, learning slightly more complex movements and adding striking techniques for times when we find ourselves overpowered, when escaping is not an option.
We want to build quick, reflexes to these common attacks and so repetition is our biggest tool. These classes are open to everyone from ages 13 and up. No experience in martial arts is necessary. We will improve your balance, stamina, physical strength and agility by utilizing techniques from the military and the best self defense martial art in the world.... Aikido.
Each class is an 11/2 hrs in length with 2 instructors and will be no larger than 20 people to maximize 1 on 1 training time. These classes can be used to learn how to defend yourself with quick, effective life saving techniques.Upon graduation from the 8 week basic course, there are 4 more levels to attain if you want to further your abilities or possibly become a certified P.A.C.T. instructor.
