The OAG, established in 2004, represents all Ontario apple farmers with 10 or more acres of apple orchard and has approximately 200 grower members. Close to 20 different varieties of apples are grown in Ontario. The province’s major apple-producing areas are along the shores of Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.
