One Cup at a Time Cafe was a social enterprise Cafe that provided training and employment to reconnect people to the workforce who were otherwise removed as a result of disability, mental illness and/or other barriers.

The One Cup at a Time was owned and operated by the John Howard Society, a renowned and registered charity that has been serving the Central Okanagan since 1956. One Cup at a Time opened its doors in 2010 and closed in 2017. Since opening then over 60 people completed the program and seized the opportunity to give back to their community.

All profits from the cafe go directly back into the Society, supporting our programs that help those who need it the most in our community. Your coffee can make an impact in your community.
