72 years ago Neil Hamill was born on a dairy farm on Steeles Ave. just east of 9th line. At that time the population of Markham village was 1200. Neil remembers in his younger years delivering eggs to the village businesses. Many people will remember the landmark restaurants in the 1980s and 1990s on the northeast corner of McCowan and Highway 7 called Mothers and Fathers. Neil was at the helm of those successful establishments.

In 1997 Neil moved out of town to the new address on Anderson Ave. Today this location is within the city of Markham and is often identified as situated across from the Mount Joy GO station. Neil's two daughters are very active in running the business. A steady reliable staff is needed to supply on an average, 950 pre-ordered pizza lunches daily to local schools.

Neil has been a generous Markham community citizen in many ways. He supports the local Minor Hockey Team as well as the local Girls Soccer Team. Neil is one of many host involved with the program 'Out of the Cold'.
