SHLAMA AND PEACE!

Welcome to the Mesopotamian Pavilion where you can experience the contemporary culture of the one of the world's most ancient civilizations. Listen to the exotic sounds of the Dohola and Zorna (the traditional flute an drum) that provide the distinct base sounds of the Middle Eastern Rhythms. Be entertained by our dancers and perhaps join them in a khigga , a traditional Mesopotamian circle dance. A showcase of local talent will also provide live musical bands and Dj's playing both Middle Easter and Western music with the captivating Eastern Beats.

For those of you who enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere, try our herbal Nargeela, a water pipe that burns a fruit flavoured molasses paste. Foodies can be sure to find something that satisfies their palate, such as Potato Chaip (a savoury meat filled potato patty) or Kunafa (cream-filled pastry).

Wonder through our Grande Bazaar where you can purchase food and souvenirs, have your written in Aramiac, and even take a picture by the Ishtar Gates.

Enjoy the true hospitality of the Mesopotamian Pavilion, a cradle of culture waits.

Shukran, Baseema Rabaa!!
