The McIntyre Curling Club was built in 1938 as part of the McIntyre Community Building. Curling at the club started in 1939 and has been a fixture in the City of Timmins ever since.
No fewer than ten teams have gone on to represent the club at the various National curling championships.
The McIntyre Curling Club houses six sheets of ice and a large lounge area for after game socials.
