LOCAL 246 is a collective of like-minded individuals with a mandate to create, cultivate, and advocate the Barbadian (Bajan) culture in Toronto, Canada.

In our efforts to bring the culture to the forefront, LOCAL 246 will be curating and hosting various bajan-inspired events, while supporting Barbadian talent and owned businesses in the Greater Toronto Area and Barbados.

*-You don't have to be a born-bred bajan or even one by way of parentage to be apart of this movement.

One of our goals is to not only create a fellowship with those of bajan decent in the GTA and, but also with those that have love for our little "gem of the Caribbean sea".

LOCAL 246 believes in "bridging the gap" between generations. As both have valuable information to share, and can contribute in pushing the culture forward.

With that said, we will be keeping you current on news and events here in Toronto as well as Bimshire, with a little history sprinkled in. <--See what we did there ;)
