Here at Life Changes Canada Recovery & Treatment Centre, we strive on client’s recovery. We will make it our goal to help each and every client who walks through our doors from the moment they arrive till they’re ready to enter into the real world. Our Recovery Centre offers full medical detox with 24-7 monitoring by our professional medical staff. Clients in detox will be as comfortable as possible with females and males separated. With a high level of security cameras amongst the facility and security guards making their rounds all through the night, we guarantee the utmost safety for each and every client during their stay here at Life Changes Canada.
We are a non-methadone facility. We do not promote the use of methadone to substitute for opiate withdrawal. We offer buprenorphine/suboxone to aid in the withdrawal symptoms. Our qualified nurses and Doctor’s on site are all experienced in the field with addiction and withdrawal symptoms. Each client’s history varies so our medical staff will treat all clients with patience and compassion as clients so often requires the extra attention they were lacking in the real world. However, our counsellors will guide them through the treatment process with a strict schedule that needs to be followed daily once cleared from detox. Clients are encouraged to attend classes daily with weekly bonuses for perfect attendance as well. Counsellor’s here at Life Changes Canada will educate clients in a class based setting with the 12-step recovery program onsite as well as off site meetings to familiarize themselves with the 12-step program in the community. Our program also offers clinical groups around addiction & recovery and the required life skills necessary for a clean and sober life. With follow up for after care, counsellors will create an exit plan with their client as they approach their discharge date. They will always know where to find support and NA/AA groups once they complete the program.
Our facility is located deep into Caledon Village, Ontario, on 100 acre land far away from the city and distractions. We have many professionals visiting weekly to aid in their recovery with massage therapy, yoga and a personal training on site in the gym. Life Changes Canada offers daily activities such as sports, crafts, nature walks & teamwork sessions as part of the program as well. Client’s have the option of Detox alone or Detox with Program at 30-90 days.
