We run many projects which benefit the environment while creating worthwhile community driven involvement:

Niagara Natural Heritage Corridor Tree Planting program: LCN works with rural landowners to promote and execute successful native tree planting projects that increase forest interior and reconnect our fragmented natural areas. Since inception we have planted over 1.7 million trees.

Re-leaf Niagara: Land Care Niagara manages a tree nursery where many students and volunteers help to raise native Ontario tree species which will be donated to schools and community groups in urban environments. Trees can also be acquired for your home garden or property based on a donation per tree.

Species at Risk: LCN has been involved in many Species at Risk projects through monitoring, habitat creation and outreach to the general public across Niagara.

Woodworking for Nature: A program where youth and other volunteers help construct structures for habitat creation (including species at risk). These can include bird, bat and butterfly houses.
