Meet the Sauce Queens!

- Jo Anne
Jo Anne Elsbury is the proud co-owner of La Dee Da Gourmet Sauces Inc. She is a mother and wife and is very proud that at 47 she has reinvented herself to become one of the three Sauce Queens! Her background has involved working for many different companies, including the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel to most recently Halton Region where she spent 15 years working in Children’s Services. Jo Anne prides herself on being a continuous learner. She has spent the last few years growing with the company to learn new skills and take new avenues to make La Dee Da the amazing company it is today. Immersing herself in the food industry has been quite the feat but Jo Anne is happy with where the company is today and is confident that along with her partners and dedicated staff, La Dee Da Gourmet Sauces will be the little company that could.

- Marlow
Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Marlow has continuously worked in sales since her early 20’s. Marlow moved to Hamilton to marry her soulmate and started a new chapter working in the Bridal industry. This change allowed her to grow her skills in the areas of purchasing, planning and organization of events while remaining true to her love of sales. After taking time to raise her three beautiful children, Marlow decided to join her husband’s auto collision business to manage the office. Years later, Frank was diagnosed with cancer so Marlow made it her mission to live a clean lifestyle to support her husband’s health while going through treatment. Sadly, after a long brave battle, Frank passed away and after a few years, Marlow’s passion for healthy, clean eating was ignited once again when she noticed her friend Mary’s company, La Dee Da Gourmet Sauces on Facebook. She reached out to Mary, came the next day, met Jo Anne and the rest is history. Marlow is so proud of the company and the way that three women came together to make better products and help change the way people eat, one sauce at a time.

- Mary
Mary Marino is a mother, wife and proud co-owner of La Dee Da Gourmet Sauces Inc. After many years of working in the cemetery and funeral service industry, Mary thought it was time to make a change. During an impromptu cup of coffee with her dear friend Jo Anne, a question arose that stopped her dead in her tracks, ‘If you could do anything you’ve ever wanted, what would it be’…a no brainer for this long time culinary lover, she quickly replied, ‘I’d love to start a sauce company’. And so the journey began. Mary has enjoyed the marketing and sales aspect of the company as building relationships is important to her. Mary passion for creating new culinary products is what drives her desire to see the company succeed. Many years of hard work are starting to pay off as her company is successfully making it’s mark in the on-trend healthy living lifestyle. In over 400 retail stores La Dee Da is being enjoyed by many people and continue to grow as they expand globally.
