Trained as a landscape architect (University of Guelph, 1990) and as an architect (University of Oregon, 1999) Mr Tuer’s career path has focused on projects that bridge Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
In the past 17 years project work has taken Mr Tuer to Australia, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, The Caribbean, Central America, Europe and throughout the United States and Canada.

Architecure: Contemporary West Coast home and cabin design with an emphasis on the use of natural materials and passive environmental systems. Our principal Architect James Tuer collaborates with clients to find solutions that will meet their design program and budget. JWT designed homes can be found throughout the Sunshine Coast, Gulf Islands, BC and internationally.
