Jungle Kids 1.86

I am a passionate mother and teacher whose goal is to take the best care of children and spend quality time doing a variety of fun activities with them in my home while parents/guardians are working. Since I am a teacher, I do promote language, reading, and math skills from a young age. For example, there is a giant chalkboard for practicing letters, numbers, drawings, etc. I will read to the kids every day and provide a large variety of books for the kids to explore with a reading area. I have collected a variety of games like flashcards, matching cards, the Mystery Box (my own creation and the kids' favourite!), and many more. I have numerous toys that promote brain development, dexterity, and coordination. I believe that appealing to all the senses is important so I have visual displays, hands-on activities, opportunities for listening (to each other, music), opportunities for movement (outdoor play, fun exercises/games), and different textures (sand, water, playdough, paint, crafts, etc.). Even though I am a teacher at heart, I do NOT plan to run a rigid classroom. I simply want to create a fun and safe environment where there are many opportunities for learning and exploring. In doing this, I strongly believe that my type of care will help children prepare for the routines of school and help them develop a variety of skills that will be needed in the classroom and their lives. I cannot make any certified guarantees as every child is different and I am in no way assessing them, I am simply providing many different opportunities that will promote multiple ways of learning. I hope that appeals to some of you out there :)
