The Chamber was started in 1990 by a small group of business people. The name of the Chamber became Goderich & District Chamber of Commerce.
In 2004 the Chamber hired a Business Manager and since then have grown to over 250 members and have now changed the name to be more encompassing of the area its services - Huron Chamber of Commerce - Goderich, Central and North Huron
