"Connecting people of compassion with people in need to make a difference."

At Harvest House Atlantic, our goal is to create a caring community where anyone, regardless of race or creed, can come to find help in times of need.

We offer people hope and support towards a brighter and productive future; believing that by working together with people of faith and compassion, that we can help people to a place of freedom and stability.

The facts of homelessness, life controlling addictions and premature death may be rapid and increasing in many communities; however we deal with a faith based truth that GOD can reach the unreachable, touch the untouchable and change the unchangeable.

Harvest House is the only non-profit organization in the Maritime provinces that offers a tri-program approach. These programs include:

1) Shelter Program
- 30 bed emergency shelter service (serving men & women)

2) Addiction Recovery Program
- 21 bed (men's) 9-month, live-in addiction recovery treatment center

3) Step-Up Housing Program
- 36 bed transitional housing program (serving men & women)

*We also are in the planning stages of seeking out appropriate funding to open the first women's addiction recovery live-in treatment center in the tri-city area (Moncton, Riverview & Dieppe, NB).

Program info:

- Our Shelter Program does not operate with the belief of enabling homelessness. We believe in restoring people and offering a message of hope. That is the reason why we provide on-going case management to our shelter guests and residents, to encourage movement towards other programs offered to make a way for treatment if needed and or long term stability and a life off the street.

- Our 9-month, live-in addiction Recovery Program is based on community and a brother to brother approach. We provide a faith based 12 step program, daily teaching sessions to encourage character growth and confidence, as well as group outings and opportunities to serve the community to allow our residents to build trust relationships, some for the first time in a long time.

- Our Step-up transitional housing program is our newest addition to our services and is designed to provide an affordable housing option to those in need who are willing to: Find work (working with our case managers for resume building, interview prep etc.), or willing to go back to school in obtain their GED or college programs and or willing to pay it forward by volunteering to help others in need. This program is also a transition option to those coming out of our addiction recovery program and or coming off the street from our shelter program. (All Men and All women residences offered with house managers in place in each for accountability purposes)

Harvest House also provides a community center that welcomes everyone in need and can seat up to 75 people. The center's kitchen staff serve over 150 meals per day to those in need, as well as over 800 cups of hot coffee per week to help warm someone up.
