The Habitat 5.16

We want to thank everybody in the community who has supported Habitat these past 13 years, we wouldn’t be where we are now without the support of our music community, so thank you.

As we get older, we are making some important changes to our Venue inside and out. The most recent change is our new Laneway patio- gather and celebrate good friends, craft cocktails, and a thriving music scene before and after events.

Part of our anniversary celebration is that we are officially moving the main entrance to the back Laneway where the patio is located. We have slowly been making this change over the past year as the back door entrance provides convenient access to the upstairs venue, Inhabit, where we’ve been busy hosting more and more shows.

We hope that in moving our main entrance away from Leon Avenue, people will be more apt to come by to see what’s before and after events. With living walls and tall plants surrounding the patio, you will completely forget you are in the middle of downtown.
