Guitar Lessons with Cameron 2.08

Hello! I'm Cameron and I want to be your guitar instructor. It doesn't matter to me the style or your level of experience. I am happy to work with anyone that wants to learn. Never held a guitar? No problem, let's get you started. Have you been playing for a while and feel stuck in a rut? Let's get you inspired with something new! Are you at a plateau in your abilities? Let me help you learn the tools you need to keep pushing your own boundaries. I am looking to cater your lesson plan to where you are in your playing and your own goals as a musician. I am also looking to have fun and I hope you are too.

A little about me: My name is Cameron King. I have been playing guitar for 17 years. I have been living in Vancouver for the last 9 years. I am also trained in audio engineering and production. I currently play in the band Cadaveric Lividity. We are releasing an ep in early 2016 entitled "Rotten". Formerly I played bass in the local metal band Neck of the Woods. I joined during their first year and was lucky enough to record with them as well. I also have played guitar with Lisa Joyce, a local folk and country artist who you should check out too. For a while I was in an avant-jazz rock band. I guess what I'm getting at is I'm happy working in a variety of styles and I do my best to keep unbiased to others musical taste. I'm just as happy jamming Led Zeppelin as Dave Brubeck.

For lessons I have rehearsal studio access near Commercial Drive and Hastings street and/or I am also able to travel to your home or studio. I live near south Granville and I'm happy to travel (within reason). I am able to offer instruction on both electric and acoustic guitar. I offer competitive but reasonable rates and can offer group lessons as well at a discounted rate.
